BUSSING
To set up bussing or make changes to bussing, requests should be submitted via email to Kristin Harvey, Transportation Director, at [email protected]
School bus riders, while in transit, are under the jurisdiction of the school bus driver. The bus driver must devote 100% of his/her attention to driving the bus and therefore should not be distracted by the improper conduct of students riding the bus. The bus misconduct point system ensures that students conform to the transportation and school rules and policies. The Code of Conduct and Misconduct Point System can be found in the Student Handbook.

Parent Pickup & Dropoff

PARENT DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
At ELC, children coming to school by car should be dropped off at the front door.  During the first days of school, there will be a teacher to help the child out of the car and direct him/her where to go.  When children become familiar with the drop off routine, they will be expected to exit the car on their own. Parent drop off begins at 7:45am, and students should be dropped off no later than 8:15am. If a child is eating breakfast at school, he/she should arrive by 8:00am.

PARENT PICK-UP PROCEDURES
Parent pick-up takes place in front of the building at the Early Learning Center. Cars should line up along the road to the East of the circle drive until the first wave of buses has been loaded.  Parents should display their child's name on the visor tag provided.  Then, a teacher will come to the end of the circle drive and will call the children's names.A teacher will escort each child to his/her car. Children need to fasten their own seatbelt. If a child requires assistance, parents should pull forward and provide assistance so that other children may be loaded.
